What is Ashiatsu? Why Deep Feet?
What is Ashiatsu? Why Deep Feet?
Ashiatsu is massage applied with the therapist's bare feet. Translated, ashiatsu simply put, means foot pressure. Throughout the world and throughout history, various forms of barefoot massage have been practiced. Deep Feet Bar Therapy is a western adaptation of eastern barefoot techniques. Utilizing compressive force and increasing circulation, Ashiatsu certification from Deep Feet Bar Therapy requires additional training and clinical hours beyond state licensure. Earning an Ashiatsu certification from Deep Feet Bar Therapy, accredited by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, (NCBTMB), Rachael has completed all levels of Deep Feet Bar Therapy courses and has earned their Master Certification.
